Get a Jump Start on Detoxification
Those of you who are considering taking the Fall Detoxification Class that starts on October 6 may want to consider an optional Pre-tox protocol. You can prepare your body and improve your results by incrementally eliminating problematic foods and beverages from your diet.
The pretox protocol will be particularly helpful if you have found yourself- overdoing it with processed or fast food
- drinking too much coffee, pop, or alcohol
- gaining weight recently
- experiencing digestive problems.
If you choose, here is the protocol we recommend starting the week before our Detoxification Class begins.
- Drink at least 8 glasses of filtered water daily.
- Eliminate dairy products such as milk, cheese, and ice cream (except for natural, unsweetened yogurt.)
- Eliminate all foods containing refined sugars and artificial sweeteners.
- Eliminate all breads, processed foods, condiments, and peanuts.
- Eliminate gluten, i.e., wheat, rye and barley.
- Eliminate beef, pork, and veal (natural poultry and fish are acceptable).
- Eliminate alcohol, including beer and wine.
- Eliminate caffeinated beverages including coffee, tea, and soda.
- Take the following supplements, available at The Gleason Center: LV/GB (1 – 3X per day) or AF Betafood (2 – 3 X per day).
